OBJECTS
The Objects for which the society is established are:
(a) To undertake rescarch in philosophy and theology on education and moral values which raise the all round standard and belief systems of the people. (b) To foster value based approach and rightful application for leading authentic life in all its dimensions. (c) To encourage and facilitate and to offer assistance for multidisciplinary research in areas connected with empowerment of women and to bring out reports suggesting ways to provide socio-cultural and political transformation of women in particular and people in general. (d) To offer scholarships for the socially marginalized, especially the vulnerable candidates from all sections of the society for studies and research programmes. (e) To propagate human, artistic and aesthetic values based on genuine anthropological foundation, understanding and approach to life which can unite people cutting across divisive forces. (f) To use all income from the property moveable or immoveable or the funds received by way of grants, donations etc., whenever derived, for the objects of the society as set forth in this Memorandum of Association provided that no portion thereof be distributed among the members or anybody by way of profits, dividends or bonus. (g) In order to achieve the above mentioned Objects, the society may; (i) Conduct seminars, consultations and symposia, creating endowment lectures, during the year in order to make known the implications of Mariological studies as expressed in traditions and cults. (ii) Organize Marian congresses and Popular conventions to catechize the faithful on the themes and implications of Mariological studies and liturgy. (iii) Avail print and electronic medias to publish journals and books of scientific and devotional characters on Mariology and on related themes; (iv) Publish leaflets with catechetical, liturgical and devotional nature as per the needs of the peoples; (v) Coordinate and promote at the national level, the work that is being carried on at regional and local levels by means of National Meetings and by setting up structures of co-operation and organs of dialogue in an ecumenical spirit conducive to this end; (vi) Establish, maintain and conduct institutions and activities necessary for the aforesaid purposes and in general, such type of institutions, which may be necessary or useful for the attainment of any of the purposes of the Society. |
